The Trench
A majestic spot that witnessed the most intense moments in the life of the Messenger of Allah and his honorable companions. The sincerity of the faith of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and the betrayal of the hypocrites and Jews surfaced here, in great events immortalized by the Qur’an and ended with the victory of the Prophet and his companions.
Baqi' Al-Gharqad
The prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, chose this place to be a graveyard for his companions. Around 10,000 of the honorable companions were buried there. Because of the large number of righteous people who were buried in this cemetery, it is called Al-Baqi' Garden.
Mount Uhud
It is a majestic mountain that had a special place to the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, who said: "Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it."
Uhud Martyrs Square
It is one of the famous landmarks in Madinah. The Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, used to visit it and pray for the martyrs buried there with forgiveness.
The Archers’ Mount
The Prophet (ﷺ) placed fifty of his companions on a small mountain near the battlefield of Uhud, and ordered them not to leave their positions on the mountain whatever the circumstances. But they disobeyed his orders, so the Muslim army was defeated.
Mount Thawr
It is a small mountain behind the Mount Uhud, and constitutes the northern boundary of Madinah sanctuary.
Saqifat Bani Sa'idah
The Saqifah was the locale of one of the most important political dialogues in Islam, which resulted in the pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq as the Caliph of the Muslims.
Uhud Castle
It is one of the most important historical monuments in Madinah. It is an important military fortress built at the foot of Mount Uhud, and considered one of the fortifications of Madinah.
Bani Ubaid Mountain
Mount Bani Ubaid is one of the mountains of Madinah that was associated with the events of the Battle of the Trench. It is one of the borders of the trench. It witnessed one of the miracles of the Prophet (ﷺ) in which he conveyed the glad tidings of the victory and empowerment of this religion.
A'yr Mountain
It is a great, lofty mountain that the Prophet (ﷺ) set as the boundary of Madinah sanctuary from the southern side. At the foot of this mountain the Miqat of Dhul Hulaifah is located.
Urwa bin Al-Zubayr Palace
The Palace is an emblem of defiance and steadfastness in the face of the forces of nature. It was built on a high hill overlooking the edges of Al-Aqiq Valley in the west of Madinah.
Jamma Um Khaled
Jamma Um Khaled holds many historical palaces, and overlooks the area where Abu Sufyan's army was positioned in the Battle of the Al-Ahzab (Trench).
Jamma Tadharu’ Mount
It is a mountain in Madinah and is associated with the sayings of the Prophet (ﷺ). In addition, the Mount contains important Islamic historical monuments.
Qurban Street
It is a busy street that houses the most famous markets and popular restaurants. It is also characterized by its proximity to the Prophet’s Mosque.
Jamma Al-Aqir Mount
It is the Mount near which the armies of the polytheists of Quraysh passed to fight the Prophet (ﷺ). It is also the place where Abu Sufyan's army camped in the Battle of Al-Ahzab.
Bani Waqef Fortress
It is a Bani Waqef fortress and was built in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. According to some narratives, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) prayed there.
Sadd Al-Khanaq
It is located at the top of Al-Khanaq valley, it was constructed during the reign of the Umayyad caliph Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan -may God be pleased with him-
Qiba Castle
The castle was built for military purposes. It is one of the largest castles in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah
Ar-Rabadh City
It is one of the Islamic cities on the Kufi Hajj route, east of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
