An Overview:
Al Suqya Mosque was built on the site where the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) prayed and supplicated Allah while marching to Badr and drank from Al Suqya well next to it. According to historical sources, there are nearly ten wells near the mosque. It was narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) paraded the Muslim army while heading to Badr in Al Suqya, Al-Harra, which is at the western edge of Al-Harra of Madinah. He prayed there and supplicated for the people of Madinah.
